One of the big mistakes I see from homeowners is that they price themselves out of a pool because of all the options. During the initial planning portion of your project, plan for future options. Leave room for more decking, plumb for future water features, plumb for a slide, leave room for that salt system, plan for a pool house/shed, landscape next year, get your winter cover in the fall, or leave that pool sweep for next spring. Be careful not to price yourself out of a pool with all the extras!
