There seems to be a myth floating around about fiberglass pools that is very much misinformed. Though not all fiberglass pools are alike, properly built fiberglass pools are great for cold climates that see freezing and thawing. They are designed to be strong and yet still have the flexibility to withstand the moving of the earth that happens in cold climates. Thankfully we have done, and will continue to do, the research into which fiberglass pool manufacturers still provide a good pool. Concrete pools however have a much harder time with this environment as do liners. Fiberglass is definitely the best choice in the northern states.
